Our online programs are
deployed using a unique, safe and secure web browser known as
CanauxFocus. This state-of-the-art browser was developed by I and A
Research Ltd. Originally developed to broadcast Television over the
Internet, it is the perfect tool for deploying internet based
content. Any type of content that can be accessed on the internet
can be deployed through this browser.
Using Canaux Focus is as
easy as surfing channels on your TV. The user interface includes a
keypad which is similar to a TV remote control. Courses, program
packages and other content are placed on "channels" within our system. To go to a specific
channel you simply click on the channel number (as shown on the
right) and the programs on that particular channel become available.
In the CantrainOnline
system, our courses are bundled into specific packages that you can
subscribe to. Each package is placed on one or more channels
depending on the number of courses offered in the package. In our
customized versions of this system you can use some or all of our
content and you have the option of adding your own courses to
channels.
Adding channels is
extremely easy and you don't need to be a computer programmer to do
it. CanauxFocus has a simple drag and drop interface. If your
content is currently on a server in a web enabled format, it can be
added to channels in a matter of minutes.
In addition,
CanauxFocus contains a complete learning management system which
is AICC and SCORM 1.2 compliant. This enables corporate users of our
system to track user activity and user results of activities
completed. In concert with our LMS we have a unique "learning
channel" option which allows you to
customize the content you want
to make available to individual or groups of users.
TheTrainingBank-IARM
version of our system is available to the general public. In this
version of our system we have deployed program packages in a variety
of ways to show you the flexibility of our system.
Some of our packages
are deployed by way of secure links to other secure LMS systems. We
simply set up our system to interface with the secure system of a
third party provider. This enables users to access multiple content
providers but do so with only one user access code.
We also deploy
content from a simple menu of topics. When you click on a channel,
the menu of topics appears. You simply select the topic you wish and
the course launches. This is particularly useful if you wish to give
access to content but do not have a need to track results.
The third way we
deploy content is through our "Learning Channel" LMS. In this set up
all topics are listed. You select the course you wish to start and
it launches. As you complete the exercises in the course, the
results are communicated to our learning management system and a
record of your work is retained. You can view these results.
Corporate users can also produce reports on user activity.
The fourth way
content is deployed is by direct link. This includes links to
specific websites, courses, documents, tools such as chat rooms and
discussion groups, movies or any other multimedia presentations.
If you want to access
our system but do not have a copy of the browser on the computer you
are using, we also have direct Internet portal access through
CanauxLite. As CanauxFocus can only be used on PC's, this option
makes access for MAC users a breeze.

Cost effective “user pay” terms.
Get the most out of your training budget. You
only pay for the courses that are subscribed to. You can pay monthly based on
actual usage. You subscribe to the channel (s) you want and we send you a
detailed bill every month, or if you prefer we can charge the fees to your
corporate credit card. We can also charge the subscription fees directly to the
student’s credit card if you prefer.
On larger projects we will also be pleased to
discuss enterprise wide pricing arrangements. We will be pleased to provide our
price lists and subscription terms upon request.
