If you deal with people in any way, you will have to deal with conflict. Conflict arises out of differing viewpoints between two people and is therefore not inherently bad. It is very a healthy and normal interaction between two people. What is unhealthy is when conflict is poorly handled or not resolved.

 

Using the guidelines in these courses you can begin to develop personal strategies for building bridges, minimizing conflict, and establishing trust and respect. You will:

  • Learn about the factors that influence conflict situations

  • Discover the basic principles for resolving conflict.

  • Discover your personal style when dealing with conflict

  • Find the best ways of defusing a conflict situation
